It always pays to be prepared! Mountain rescue tells wet man "tough luck!"
On April 25th we remember the victims of the 2015 Earthquake. A tragic day that impacted so many. It was this awful event that eventually sparked the founding of Elite Trekkers: Nepal, to help rebuild the lives of those impacted.
Thanks to all you Elite Trekkers: Nepal for the amazing reviews we've received lately! It means so much to us to know we're serving you well! 🙏 Here's a little bit of the <3 love <3 the team have been receiving: "Elite Trekkers, the name says it all. Having returned from the EBC trek I felt compelled to give Mahendra a 5 star review for the service he gave." "Mahendras knowledge, patience and assistance throughout was invaluable in making our trek a really enjoyable experience and to a man we would highly recommend using Elite Trekkers to anyone considering a visit to this fascinating country." "Its in the name “ELITE TREKKERS” do not go anywhere else for your trekking. I would not recommend any other group, and trust me we saw a few groups and how they operated, they did not have a patch on Elite Trekkers." "If you plan a trip with the Elite Trekkers seek Mahindra out, you’ll be sure your in safe hands. If I was to trek in Nepal again it would be with Mahindra" See these reviews in full, and more at facebook.com/pg/elitetrekkers/reviews

Dear Elite Trekkers team, we wanted to thank you for the very good service that we received from your company for the organization of the trip and even for the support when Stefania got sick. Even just reaching Gokyo was an amazing experience and we were actually quite glad for having skipped the trek to Kala Patthar as it looked too crowded for our tastes. Anyway, our biggest thanks go to our guide Kiran and the porter Devadas who did a marvellous job with us. They were both super nice, we really enjoyed the time with them. We don't think that we would have had the same great experience without their friendly and cheerful attitude. They understood well when we wanted our privacy and when instead we wanted or needed their company. Kiran spoke a perfect English and he was extraordinarily knowledgeable about the mountains and always knew a lot of things about the environment around us and the mountains far in front of us. Plus his picks of guesthouses were always perfect for what we wanted (in other independent treks we always need to check a number before we find something fitting our budget/needs). Also, after seeing the poor or average quality of even senior Khumbu guides of other groups, we think we got very lucky and turned out to have one of the best guides in the whole Himalayas (honestly, not exaggerating, we have seen many in the Himalayas). For us, that was specially important when Stefania was sick and both Kiran and Devadas really helped us a lot both physically and psychologically. So, thanks again for helping us to make our experience an unforgettable one, you are really doing a great job.
